Kingfisher Coaching Services

 

Based in Sydney Australia, Kingfisher Coaching Services was founded by Karen O’Connell-Shea and Elizabeth Wickham in 2017. Elizabeth and Karen met at Sydney Uni when studying the Masters of Coaching Psychology.

 

We work across the ASIA time zones, and have a team of coaches with specialist skills & experiences across leadership development, career support, change management and business development.

Our coaches


All our coaches hold tertiary qualifications, extensive business experience and possess a variety of domain specific expertise. This gives us the flexibility to ensure we can match the right coach to the business and the coachee. Having worked in senior roles across many locations, especially in Asia, our coaches offer a depth of understanding of organisational, professional and personal challenges that the individual might be facing.

Our coaching philosophy

We believe coaching leads to positive change in behaviour and actions. It is a results oriented, collaborative and systematic process where the coach facilitates the improvement of work performance, self-directed learning and personal and professional growth of the coachee. This is achieved through building a working relationship between the coach and client that is characterised by direct, personal and sometimes challenging conversations.

Karen O'Connell - Shea 

Karen has in depth knowledge and skill in building individuals and teams, utilising a strengths based approach that focuses on addressing current needs and building future capability.

Renee Neely

Renee works as a senior coach and facilitator across change management and organisational design.  

Renee has a Master level tertiary qualification in organisational coaching, a Bachelor’s degree in human resources and sociology and a number of formal qualifications covering strategy design, change management methodology, program and project management methodology, organisational process design and implementation, adult learning and education, implementation science, and innovation & action learning models/design thinking.

Elizabeth Wickham

Elizabeth has a demonstrated ability to collaboratively create environments that encourage high performance, innovation and engagement. She offers extensive experience contributing to business objectives at a senior level through a mix of strategic thinking coupled with a pragmatic business approach.

Elizabeth's specialties include leadership development, change management, evidence based performance, and career coaching.

Kate Wilkie

Kate is an executive and leadership coach with diverse experience across the corporate, not-for-profit, health and education sectors.  She has a strong interest and knowledge in strengths based coaching and development, seeking to support sustainable high performance.

Jo has extensive experience as an executive coach for a range for public and private sector clients. Her core strengths include executive coaching, organisational and structural reviews, strategy and cultural change facilitation, leadership and management development and change management.

Lorraine has considerable experience working with leaders and aspiring leaders, most notably in the education and health sectors. Lorraine is passionate about supporting individuals to better understand and engage their strengths to realise their potential and achieve their goals and aspirations.

Jo Attard Watters

Jo is an experienced, engaging and pragmatic executive and leadership coach who is known for her commercial style, approachability and results. With significant experience working with executive leadership through to emerging leaders, Jo demonstrates significant skill in developing individuals and teams to be the best they can be using reflective, solutions focused coaching methodologies and developmental techniques, with a particular strength in working with leaders to assist them in working through change and career management
